Robots and Automation

 

     The source of the word ‘robot’ is ’robota’ which means hard labour.It is considered to be

 

an important product of the technology which  has an affective role in human life.It is

 

significant that robots and automation is enhancing remarkably.It is argued that robots and

 

automation are beneficial harmful for humanity.Although it is considered that robotics and

 

automation will damage humanity in the future, they will offer greatbenefits to people such as

 

free time,peaceful life,the needs to people’s brain and strength and health.

 

     Even though it may be asserted that robotics and automation  may increase  to be associal,

 

people can spare their time for hobbies.Some people claim that the robots and automation

 

which has developed and used in the earliest of 21.century makes human associal.Especially

 

TVs which are the most common entertainment device in people’s house,prevent people daily

 

life order.It is further argued that computer effect children with some joys given by computer

 

games.However,robotics and automation are the most important advantage when people

 

doing Works in a short period.It is obvious that,difficulties in a large number of houseworks

 

are cracked thanks to robotics and automation.In office life human who kill their time with

 

office Works,spare time their hobbies due to computer which make their  works easy and

 

accelarete the terminating of officeworks.

 

      Some claim that rich countries use technology for their bad aims,however,robotics and

 

automation provide to live in peace.People believes that,countries which compete for being

 

the superpower of the world wage war with eachother.While this dominance contest,robotics

 

are used frequently by the countries which have developing technology.For the place of using

 

up the money for harmful contraptions for human,it would be beter to use it for innocent

 

technology(Sofge,n.d.).On the other hand, robotics and automation is not only for strike but

 

also defending country.Robotics and automation are used against outer threats and internal

 

theart.Authentically,robotics and automation are used to prevent other countries occupying

 

our country.Moreover,they are used to provide the order inside the country.’I am all for these

 

Un-named military robots,they will save lives.The argument of  about people thinking twice

 

before going to war if humans are doing the fighting is flawed,just look at the current conflict’

 

(Sofge,n.d.).

 

       In spite some believe that unemployment is rising due to the robotics and

 

automation,people’s brain and strength are needed everytime in life.It is the assetion of many

 

people,bosses prefer robots since robots works faster than employer and bosses avoid paying

 

high wage.Despite people assume robotics and automation increase the unemployment,human

 

intelligence is on top of all technologies.It is clear that people are the creater of new

 

machines.According to Nilsson,automation factually couldn’t be shown as the prime reason of

 

unemployment due to the automation which is less expensive in the Third World… (1984)

 

       Finally,although robotics and automation is thought against to religion,it is essential

 

developing of health sector.Some religious ********ary assumed that cloning people with

 

cloning automation devices an inexcusable sin.Do not religious fuctionary know that the

 

cloning is saving life by organ transplantation? On the other hand, sensing robots decrease the

 

fault rate and human life is risked less than the operation  without robots.Based on an article

important role in ejecting the defective products(n.d).

 

       In conclusion robotics and automation will offer great benefits to humanity in the

 

future.Due to the fact that robotics and automotion are advantage for people while doing

 

Works in a short period,defending the country, creating new machines, operating with

 

robots.Therefore, the technology is developing rapidly and people should benefit from

 

technology’s opportunities.

                                                      DESERTIFICATION

        Today in many countries lands are becoming into deserts,and due to the conditions in the world soon we will not be able to take it backThere are two main causes of desertification,one is human activities and the other is climatic variations.

        The first and the most important cause of desertification is human activities.

Earlier desertification  was only a natural formation but day by day humans are becoming responsible for it  because of land mismanagements.Because of overgrazing, plants are eaten by mammals before they grow and multiply,then lands become arid.

Also field destructions cause desertification.For example, destruction of agricultural fields makes the fields defenceless.Then wind blow away the surface and there is nothing left.Moreover,overcultivation of crops causes decrease in nutriens in soil,so it leads to desertification by declining soil fertility.Furthermore,deforestation reduces the protection of soil and because of rainforest destructions there is not enough water, the surface of soil becomes arid that leads to desertification.

        The other cause of desertification is climatic variations.Due to global warming the climate changes,weather becomes warmer,so does the soil.Hot and dry weather causes drought,that is harmful for crops and valuable plants.The reduce in plants causes desertlike conditions.Also it is not possible to renovate the lost soil fertility which is caused by erosion so these areas can be counted as deserts.

        Not only the causes;but  also the effects of desertification are very important. Main effects of desertification are environmental changes and changes in human life.

           Firstly,environment is affected by desertification.As Steele says that “Desertification is threatening the world's food supply due to the continued decrease in arable land”(1997,para1).As well as erosion leads to desertification, also is an effect of it in long terms. According to “Scientific Facts on Desertification”,There is a big distance between some influenced places and deserted places,evolution of aerosols and particles in air are enlarged by desertification and these affects ecological and living biodiversity.(Gren Facts,2005)

 

           Secondly,humans are affected by desertification as they are responsible for it.

” the greatest environmental challenge of our times” states that the existance and occupations of a huge amount of human beings are menaced and nearly 100 to 200 million persons are influenced now by desertification which is appeared as an ecological crisis of worldwide balances.(McGrath,2007,para5).It also leads to health problems, immigration to more productive areas,starvation and shortage.

      In conclusion,desertification is a global problem which is getting bigger and if we do not do something about it in the end the whole world will be full of deserts.
